Description

AFD will sign a 35 million euro sovereign loan to the Angolan State for the implementation of a project to support the agricultural vocational training sector. This project aims to revitalise the system formed by the 12 Agricultural Technical Institutes (ITA) spread throughout the country. The TERO-SIRIUS consortium, of which TERO is the lead partner, has been selected to facilitate the start of this 5-year project. In this context, the mission consists of providing support for the establishment of the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) and the Technical Assistance to the Contracting Authority which will support it. The aim is to support the project in the recruitment process of the experts who will form the PIU and to ensure that the PIU has the capacity to ensure the effective start-up of the project as soon as the funds become available.
