Final and prospective evaluation of the SRJT (Solidarity for Youth and Territorial Success) project and the AFD Program Convention for the period 2010-2022

UNMFREO is the bridgehead association of the French MFR movement, which since the 1960s has sought to support civil societies in Southern countries in the creation of MFRs and to develop partnerships that allow the establishment of collaborative practices with these MFRs. In 2021, there are 22 MFR movements around the world, including 11 on the African continent. UNMFREO has received support from AFD since 2004 and a program agreement has been implemented since 2010, its third phase being the SRJT Project (2019-2022).This project covers 9 movements located in the following countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Mali, Senegal, Togo, Cameroon, Chad, Madagascar and Morocco. The present study for which Tero has been mandated aims to measure the results of what has been done over the three years of the SRJT program notably by analyzing the process of support to the sustainability of the MFR National Unions, but also to provide a retrospective analysis of the continuity of the actions put in place aiming at the autonomy of the MFR movements during the three phases of the AFD Program Convention.
