Description

The Government of Zimbabwe, represented by MLAFWRD, recognising the urgent need to strengthen climate smart agriculture in education, research, extension and industry, invited the Green Impact Trust (GIT) and the French Development Agency (AFD) to support strategic thinking on a public-private partnership (PPP) for the establishment of a regional college on climate smart agriculture (CSA) practices in Zimbabwe, located near the Makoholi Research Institute in Masvingo Province. In this context, Tero has been mandated by AFD to carry out a pre-feasibility study for the establishment of the college. This study aims at defining the potential project of a regional college located in Masvingo Province by considering the aspects of governance, economic model, financial needs, curricula and CSA practices with the objective of structuring them jointly to propose a feasible project.
