Created in 2006, the agricultural and rural training (FAR) network is made up of agricultural and rural training professionals from various countries on the African continent (17 in 2021), with an opening to other countries in Latin America, the Caribbean or the Middle East. From the end of 2015 to 2020, the FAR network implemented PARFAR, a project financed by AFD with the objectives of (i) supporting the network’s member countries in the formulation of national strategies and preparation of FAR renovation programs, (ii) structuring the FAR network so that it meets the expectations of member countries and (iii) improving the steering and partnership capacities of the FAR network association. Tero was commissioned to conduct the final evaluation of PARFAR.
