TERO, in consortium with ECO-Consult, has been selected by AFD to carry out a feasibility study of the project AFIDEV (support to the export chains and to rural development) in the COMOROS UNION. The general objective of the study is to design with the government, the civil society and the professional organizations concerned, a project supporting export commodity chains, with the objective to improve the incomes of the different actors of these chains, by increasing the added value, the production and export volumes of the products.The study has two components, one related to the possible support for strengthening export trade capacities and structuring export value chains at the national level (Component 1) and the second concerns proximity activities in two geographical areas of the country (Component 2), Grande Comore and Anjouan in which export products are grown.
