Triangle Génération Humanitaire (TGH) has been working for more than 10 years in the field of food security, seeking to develop the local economic potential of agriculture in the Vakaga prefecture of the Central African Republic. In 2019, it is implementing the project “Strengthening rural resilience and supporting the recovery of producers and promising agro-pastoral sectors by strengthening local capacities and creating jobs in all the prefectures of northern CAR” in consortium with DRC-PUI-ACF-Concordis.For the implementation of intervention mechanisms that enable the desired effects and impacts to be achieved pertinently, effectively and efficiently, it is very important to be familiar with and take into account the diversity of farmers’ situations, their production systems, as well as their concerns and demands. TERO was therefore selected to carry out an agrarian diagnosis in the Vakaga prefecture.

  • Documentary analysis;
  • Scoping meeting and scoping note;
  • Field mission including the different stages of the agrarian diagnosis, including reading of the landscape and zoning of the territory, kick-off meeting and interviews with people, surveys and field visits, restitution workshop;
  • Drafting of the report presenting the stages and results of the agrarian diagnosis, including recommendations for the programme.
