Description

As part of its fight against malnutrition and support to food security in Cameroon, ACF is implementing the PEREN program by coordinating a consortium consisting of ACF, French Red Cross (CRf), Care France (CARE) for a period of 2 years. In the framework of its activity, ACF and the Consortium wished to use TERO’s services to strengthen ACF and its partners in the implementation of Result 2.3 “Employment-generating, inclusive and nutrition-sensitive value chains are strengthened and sustained” and more specifically Activity 2.3.1 “Strengthening of value chains supported in the RESILIANT, through the monitoring of POs, the establishment of income-generative activites and the development of warrantage practices”. The general objective of the service is to strengthen the capacities of the field teams on the quality of the analysis, implementation, monitoring and capitalization of the value chain component carried out by ACF and its partners (international and local), and thus, to continue the support provided under the RESILI(A)NT program.

Services provided

  • Initial and additional training for ACF and its partners' teams to improve their skills and their capacity to accompany the PO and implement the activities
  • Reinforcement of the quality of the implementation and visit of the activities in progress; accompaniment of the teams, on the ground and remotely, in the implementation of actions of reinforcement of the value chains
  • Support in the capitalization system on the "Value chains" component of the Project
